When I asked my mother to describe me in four words, sweet Deirdre McLary said "Caring. Loud. Bold. Infectious." While she is absolutely a biased source, I am happy to report that is all true. Coming from humble beginnings, I grew up in the small town of Nyack, New York. I fell in love with music at a young age, and by 9 years old could sing the entirety of Sweeney Todd by heart. I don't think my parents ever quite got over hearing a child singing "Little Priest".
After overstaying my welcome in the suburbs, I journeyed to the big city to pursue what I've always loved - performing. This May, I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in Theater Arts with a Concentration in Theater Performance and a minor in musical theater. As my four very expensive years in the collegiate system comes to an end, I plan on continuing to study theater and music and perfect my Freddie Mercury impression.
Alongside performing, I also teach voice lessons. Learning correct vocal technique has changed the way I perform, and nothing brings me more joy than watching a performer grow. Starting from ages 10, I'm eager to help teach anyone with a willingness to learn!
